NOTABLE SKILL SETS: Akira demonstrates skill with various types of weaponry, and has the ability to create her own weapons; her deductive and analytical skills are also considerable, making her effective for information gathering and enemy analysis.

BACKGROUND:
The daughter of renowned ghoul investigator Mado Kureo, Akira followed in his footsteps to join the CCG herself and hunt ghouls, with the current title of Rank 2 investigator. Due to her...pedigree of sorts, she has a reputation for being just a wee bit too enthusiastic about quinque like he was, and is overall known for being ruthless and efficient. After her father's death at the hands of the ghouls Rabbit and Fueguchi Hinami, however, she was assigned to be the partner of his former partner, Koutarou Amon. While their relationship starts out rocky, it isn't long before she grows attached, and sees what her father saw in him throughout their partnership.

Of course, the danger of ghoul investigating catches up to them eventually as they track down increasingly nasty ghouls, culminating in a messy, brutal raid that left many of their peers, as well as ghouls, dead, and Akira is one of those who have been left to pick up the pieces.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Cool, levelheaded, and no-nonsense, Akira is, ideally, the perfect investigator. She places knowledge and efficiency above all else, and tends to be meticulous when it comes to both her job and her life, right down to the most minute details. Behind her stoic front, however, she can muster up quite the sharp tongue and is a walking bastion of snark; she is also unafraid to voice criticism if she finds that something or someone might be lacking. In battle, her prickly demeanor translates into a ruthlessness and a determination to eliminate the enemy, no matter what the cost.

She is also something of an eccentric, especially in her fondness for tinkering with things.

BACKGROUND: Bred and trained as a bodyguard and servant from childhood, Luciola has served the scion of House Eraclea over a decade. Accompanying master Dio Eraclea on his foray out of Guild territory he resided briefly on the warship Silvana until assisting Maestro Delphine Eraclea in reclaiming her younger brother. Eventually chose friendship over duty and aided in the escape of Dio along with allied hostages, offering his life as sacrifice to the Maestro in an attempt to secure his master's freedom.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Stoic, formal, and reserved, Luciola is accustomed to service and duty over personal desires and emotional response. Loyalty bound and socially inexperienced, he is a young man of few words and fewer expressions. Beneath the conditioned exterior is the capacity for normative emotion, as well as relationships. Instilled with Guild values including nigh inexhaustible patience, acute awareness of social status, inability to fully grasp certain emotional concepts, and Maestro idolatry. BACKGROUND:
Hei has no known alive family to speak of. He grew up in a combat zone with his younger sister, where both fought in a war from their youth onward. An inexplicable anomaly marked the end of said war, endowing Hei with dangerous abilities. [Addendum] An electromagnetic disaster is suspected to be the cause of this event and is linked to the subject's sister in origin. A sizable portion of land on Earth disappeared and the subject's sister was lost.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Also known as Li Shengshun. He's outwardly introverted and he tends to keep to himself, but he's very helpful and rarely turns down a need for assistance. Appears to be a bit shy and clumsy. He's rather quiet and does not like to party hard. Seems a bit withdrawn and melancholy at times, and has a surprisingly nasty temper. Guarded. Paranoid. A huge glutton.

BACKGROUND:
Jeffrey Moreau was born with moderate-to-severe osteogenesis imperfecta on Arcturus Station.  He was accepted into the Alliance Navy's flight academy and graduated with honors at the top of his class; he has an unremarkable list of postings until his assignment as chief helmsman to the SSV Normandy.  He served in that capacity underneath Cmdr. Shepard throughout her mission to apprehend the rogue SPECTRE agent Saren Arterius and until the SR-1's destruction.  Due to his role in the ship's destruction and his CO's death, he was court-martialed and dishonorably discharged from the Alliance military.  He was eventually recruited into the Cerberus organization, working again under his revived former CO.  After the defeat of the Collectors, he and Cmdr. Shepard commandeered the Normandy SR-2 from Cerberus and returned to the Alliance.  They were placed under arrest pending Shepard's trial for war crimes, but both were released and reinstated when the Reapers attacked Earth.  

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Moreau is intelligent, competent, and performs well under pressure, but his lack of respect for authority, abrasive personality, and smart mouth make him difficult to work with. Previously, he has avoided censure for his behavior by being too valuable to get rid of, and would not hesitate to make use of such an advantage again. He is guarded and suspicious by nature and does not trust easily; once his loyalty is gained, however, it is nearly unshakable. He functions best when given free reign to complete tasks as he sees fit, with little outside involvement, and dislikes others infringing on his territory. He has a strong sense of duty and understands the necessity of putting the success of the mission above personal goals.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Prone to caution and introversion. Opens up when presented with warmth or friendly banter. Intellectual curiousity and an apparent inferiority complex drive a surprisingly stubborn, competitive nature. Motivated primarily by the desire to protect those close, accordingly, tends to avoid interpersonal conflict until tensions reach a boiling point. Easily bribed with food and books.

BACKGROUND:
The recruit was raised in a small, now non-existent village in West Africa. Her parents and village were destroyed during the clean up of Umbrella 57th Plant accident. Orphaned at the age of 8, the recruit joined and actively participated in an anti-government guerrilla group until the age of 15. An intense animosity towards bioweapons encouraged her to inform on the group at that time. Recruit consequently moved to the United States of America, attended university, and then joined the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA). Trained as a SOA under Josh Stone, the recruit was on assignment in the Kijuju region of West Africa during a bioterrorism incident when approached by a recruiter.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
The recruit is loyal, adaptable, and a survivor. Willing to sacrifice herself for others and the greater good, she prefers to work in a team and for a goal. Displays empathy to those at a disadvantage, especially those experiencing oppression due to their perceived lesser stature. Socially adept and charismatic, she will make allies easily and constantly glean information from those around her. She displays an intense distrust of large and powerful corporations, and therefore, trust of the CDC as a whole is unlikely. Give the recruit a moral cause to champion within the missions to encourage compliance.

He was propositioned by a distant uncle to attend college and to leave the young charge in his care. The recruit accepted and was trained for eight years in planetary composition and surveyal. These skills have since been honed over ten years as a risk and return assessor to Bank of Fortuna.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Recruit is compliant, competent, and adaptable. His friendliness masks insecurity and guilt for the complacencies of the past. His insecurity masks compassion and loyalty. The recruit is not prone to connecting with others due to long term habits of placing monetary values on to the physical environment and avoidance of commitment and obligation. Born 2161 aboard the Liveship Rayya, quarian Migrant Fleet. Daughter of one of the five Admirals commanding the entire flotilla. Underwent quarian military training as well as the standard education in engineering and technology. She embarked on the traditional Pilgrimage at age 22, and stumbled upon classified data implicating Spectre Saren Arterius in a recent attack on human colony Eden Prime. Thereafter she served on the SSV Normandy under Commander Shepard, and was directly involved on the ground at the Battle of the Citadel. Upon returning to the Migrant Fleet shortly after the destruction of the Normandy, she began taking an active role in classified projects for the Migrant Fleet Marines.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Resourceful, a fast learner, and very well suited to working in a team. Dedicated to her people to the point of sacrificing her own wellbeing, and generally committed to the good of the whole over the individual - she could be described as loyal to a fault. However, this does mean her ability to work alone is impaired, and her leadership skills are negligible. She holds a deep-seated prejudice against artificial intelligence - cooperation with one is likely to be difficult. That aside, she is generally friendly and cooperative with others, though sometimes opinionated and over-sensitive to matters involving her race.

Has since been equipped with an automail prosthetic and begun search to track down Greed and remove him from Ling's body.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Lan Fan is loyal and highly driven in her goals, expecting nothing less than super-human excellence in herself. She is highly competent in combat and stealth, though temper could become an issue if pushed against her morals. Also severely stunted in social and emotional development, but she has high capacity to form strong emotional bonds. While she is somewhat self-sacrificial due to low self-esteem, there is little risk of developing suicidal tendencies.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Gentlemanly politeness masks a shrewd, distant, and severe nature. Highly deceptive, but also highly motivated, more so in regards to Phantomhive name or Queen. Frequently dodges invasive questioning about past, personal life, and right eye disability; very secretive. Prefers to work alone, but seems to work well with the Phantomhive butler as the man accompanies him almost everywhere. Disadvantages appear to be age and physical fragility as well as being allergic to cats. Games are a favored pastime, and playing chess with him has revealed a studiously tactical and strategic mindset. His business endeavors are well thought out and brilliantly executed. The Phantomhive manor and his personal self are immaculate, retaining the utmost prestige and presentability. A formidable Victorian host--the meals and tea are exquisite.

NOTABLE SKILL SET/S: Thief and sometimes assassin. Skills include stealth, lockpicking, pickpocketing, breaking and entering, and other skills one would expect from a career thief. Clever and creative, known to make useful and versatile tools out of scrap (notably, "the claw," which serves as edged weapon, blunt weapon, and grappling hook, as her needs suit.). Recent incident has resulted in her merging with a relatively unknown power referred to as the Primal. Her control over this power is thus far limited and erratic, and focus would be better placed on her thieving skills.

BACKGROUND:
Although initially saved from a life of petty theft by a brothel madam, an unfortunate incident necessitated Erin's return to the streets. Having teamed up with the so-called Master Thief, stealing to survive transformed into stealing for fun; whatever bills a thief may have, she apparently chose to use assassination contracts to pay them in favor of keeping her thieving trophies. Though apparently not good enough (or perhaps just not visible enough) to garner bounties of her own, she was skilled enough to partner with the Master Thief until their falling out, at which point she began working solo and filling her sizeable hideout with trophies of her own.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Perhaps Erin has a penchant for getting herself into trouble or simply suffers from a lifelong case of "in the wrong place at the wrong time." Whatever the case, trouble certainly follows her around, and while she is certainly capable of extracting herself from it, she occasionally does so at the expense of those around her; this is not necessarily intentional on her part. Her loyalties are few and borderline obsessive; thieving and contracts are, however, on that short list of loyalties. Provided she believes she is getting "her fair share," she is largely cooperative, though she may quibble on the details. Do not assume that a smile or friendly conversation from her is genuine. Friendly conversation is a useful and effective distraction technique used by skilled pickpockets throughout human history.

BACKGROUND:
Wallace West gained his abilities after he was struck by lightning while working in his laboratory. After gaining his powers, he created the Flash costume and alias and used his powers to help others, going on to help found the Justice League, a team of superheroes who primarily see themselves as Earth's protectors but occasionally extend their reach to other worlds as well. As the Flash, Wallace protected his home, Central and its sister city Keystone, and has come to be a beloved icon to the citizens of both.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Hopeful and optimistic almost to a fault, Wallace West sees the role of himself and the Justice League as standing for the betterment of others and holds himself and others he sees as comparable to a high standard of morals as a result, refusing to harm others whenever he deems it unnecessary and attempting to keep those he works with to a similar standard. While in the early days of his work as the Flash Wallace was often brash, impulsive, and had difficulty taking matters seriously, he has since matured considerably and while he still jokes, makes friends, and flirts easily he is aware of how they can be used to smooth over relations with others and when they may not be appropriate, a level of tact that he often lacked in the past. Wallace is comfortable working in a team, often relying on the rest of the Justice League to take control of situations, and as such does not seem to exhibit many leadership skills or much interest in taking such a role. He is capable of working alone but does not show much planning ability, often relying on his own faster reactions in order to adapt as he goes instead. Wallace West is also a highly social person, enjoying the company of others and making friends easily, to the point where he is occasionally too trusting and can show distress if forced to be alone or if friends are having interpersonal problems.

BACKGROUND:
Former captain in the Republic Navy. Deserted after losing his entire squad to an Imperial ambush, spending the next five years brutally attacking Republic and Imperial forces alike as a pirate. Captained the Sky Princess until his crew eventually mutinied. He was picked up and arrested by the Imperial military shortly after, who noted him to be "half mad" with rage, and spent the next year in Imperial prison. Released by Darth Zash in return for aiding her apprentice in finding a relic his crew had stolen before the mutiny (only after spending several months hunting down and murdering every member of his former crew), and he has been loyally serving her apprentice ever since.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Easily provoked to anger and quick to turn to violence as a solution for any problem. He shows little loyalty to any but himself, though he has proven capable of working alongside higher authority for a common goal. Quick-thinking and equally quick on his feet when not driven to a rage, and lives life in the moment with little regard to future consequences. Watch him if he finds himself in the vicinity of any member of the Republic military; he has shown no hesitation to attacking them on sight.

NOTABLE SKILL SET/S: accomplished Force user with low-level empathetic abilities, telekinetic skills, Force lightning mastery, and an ability to bind angry ghosts to herself to use their power. persuasive, notable healer, combat trained (kickboxing-esque style as well as single-blade combat).

BACKGROUND: A former slave, Kallig drew both attention and ire by wrongfully defending herself against an attack for sport. Rather than be put to death, she was given the opportunity to train as a Force-using apprentice in the Sith Empire or be killed in the training trials. Surviving the training and impressing one Lord Zash who took her as an apprentice, Kallig soon began drawing attention to herself for her cunning, archaeological finds, and an unusual sense of mercy. Among other accomplishments, she is recognized as The Great Healer of a small cult following, the recoverer of the ancient relics of the former Sith Tulak Hord, and a powerful (if unorthodox) young Sith with a rarely-seen pull on ghosts and followers alike.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Despite training in a ruthless atmosphere with expected violence, Kallig is unnaturally forgiving and a strong advocate of peace, knowledge, and compassion. Has both the capacity to be incredibly dangerous and the cunning required to take non-violent routes. Careful with displays of emotion, callous as a defence mechanism, and at risk for disobeying orders to accomplish tasks as she sees fit without concern for consequences.

DIET: Omnivore.
NOTABLE SKILL SET/S: Stealth, tracking, hand-to-hand and sword/blade combat, thrown weapons (shuriken, senbon, kunai) tactics and strategy, chakra manipulation (fire and water specialist), illusions, and other shinobi techniques. Possesses the sharingan (and it's enhanced form, the mangekyo sharingan), a bloodline-specific mutation that enhances illusionary abilities and recognition, allows the user to both see and distinguish between others' physical/spiritual energy (chakra). This also provides the ability to both predict and copy movements through observation of even minimal muscle tension in the body.

BACKGROUND: Once heir-presumptive to the powerful Uchiha clan.  Considered one of the most exceptional shinobi of his generation, Itachi graduated from the academy at the top of his class at age 7, was promoted to chuunin at 10, joined the ANBU at 11, promoted to ANBU Captain at 13.   

Itachi became a double agent for Konoha in a bid to stop his clan's attempt at a coup d'etat and prevent world war, and was eventually ordered to assassinate the entire group in exchange for his brother's safety. Accepted banishment from Konoha and reclassified as S-rank missing-nin at 13, immediately following the clan's massacre. Continued double agent role within the criminal organization Akatsuki until his death at age 21 (due to complications of terminal illness) during a fight with his brother. Later resurrected as an edo tensei programmed to attack the shinobi alliance at the start of the fourth shinobi world war. Overwrote control and defeated the one responsible for his resurrection with his brother's help, freeing himself and other edo tensei to return to death.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Studious, patient, and level-headed even in moments of extreme duress. Remarkably intelligent and deeply perceptive; sympathetic to the motives of enemies and allies alike. Compassionate, ultimately self-sacrificing, holding in high regard those who exhibit similar qualities. A firm pacifist despite exceptional combat abilities, chooses defense over offense whenever possible but will not hesitate to act to protect a comrade or complete mission objectives. Guarded but not anti-social, generally disposed to observation over engagement. Previously prone to mistrusting others' strength and judgment. Considers himself a shield for his village and its people with no regard to personal cost, and will ultimately act in Konoha's best interests; the only thing that holds more value to him is his brother, Sasuke.

BACKGROUND: Originally survived the first Black Plague in Europe, Earth, and shortly after became the apprentice to a Sorcerer, who he succeeded as a young adult. Was eventually burnt at the stake after a Church sanctioned witch hunt. Ferdinand Wurstel is his self-appointed name, which he gave himself a couple hundred years later. He traveled extensively throughout Europe, North America and part of western Asia before settling in London after causing several major accidents. His residence in Match District has been his home for the past seventy years.


CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Outwardly friendly and pleasant but with a streak that is firmly pessimistic. Tends to avoid conflicts mostly due to his meek and sensitive personality and inability to hide his stronger emotions. Low self-esteem and little-to-no combat skills. Can be curious and nosy but is mostly an introvert who keeps to himself. Good social skills and sense of responsibility, but dislikes being the center of attention and is better at blending into the crowd. Intelligent, well-read, and enjoys learning new things.

NOTABLE SKILL SET/S: Mastery of computer science and electronics, high level hacking capabilities, apiculture and apiculture networking, construction of seemingly reality bending computer viruses, high level psionics, and extremely potent telekinetic ability/energy blasts. Allegedly a 'Mage of Doom'.

BACKGROUND:
Born as a member of the shorter lived and warm blooded lower class on Alternia, Sollux would have been conscripted into his species' mandatory military service if not for its imminent end. Personally compiled the reality bending game software that would bring about the death of his species and the destruction of their homeworld. Survived by escaping into a different dimension as part of the 'game' he had built - his small team of refugees proceeded to lose the game and were forced to flee into the spacial abyss surrounding their session. Sollux Captor is partially responsible for both the creation of a new universe and the near complete extinction of the Alternian species. Has died on two separate occasions.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Undiagnosed mental illness with similarities to a bipolar disorder. Has historically suffered from deep depression and self loathing due childhood trauma. Very smart, but extremely emotionally volatile given sufficient triggering. Utilizes apathy and avoidance based coping mechanisms to deal with significant emotional baggage. Comes across as sarcastic and antagonistic in tones ranging from friendly (see: trolling behaviour) to aggressive. However, in practice, Sollux has displayed not only an admirable tendency towards loyalty, but a tolerance for necessary hard work and the willingness to self sacrifice for what he considers to be his team. Fixated on the concept of duality.

BACKGROUND:
A first year at Karasuno High in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, he is the son of a happily married father and mother and has one younger sister. He spends his free time with athletic training rather than academic pursuits; the results show clearly in his student record. Since first being accepted to Karasuno, Shouyou has been a regular member of the volleyball club.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Extremely competitive in anything athletic. Easily excitable. Low tactical ability: shows no concept of strategy and acts with little forethought. Noted to be prone to fits of restlessness as well as anxiety. Will worry self into sickness when under pointed pressure from peers. Requires very clear and simple directions, but displays full conviction toward meeting and overcoming obstacles.

BACKGROUND: Cycled through the foster care system and growing up in a world that had been altered by a crash of meteor named Pandora that changed people into superpowered beings called "Infected", Aya seemed to have a life that could be called "under-the-radar", displaying absolutely nothing unique or noteworthy until she turned 16. She was going to be adopted by one of her foster mother before she accidentally ran into an Infected one day, who she promised not to tell a government-operated organization called The Network (which captured and quarantined Infected) about their encounter under threat of her life. The next day, this Infected individual attacked a bank which her foster mother was in, and Aya has blamed herself for her inaction ever since. Her mother falling into a coma, the stress and worry activated the latent Pandora infection in Aya's body, and her "powers" developed, turning her into an Infected. Aya has since joined a renegade group of teenagers like her that have vowed to keep the innocent safe from Infected that wish to exert their power, all while running from the Network that wish to capture her and her friends and quarantine them for good.


CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Character assessment is pitiful, but shows promise. Aya is constantly set back by her own negative view of herself and her own powers, and shows a naivety and bleeding heart that can be used against her. She is poor at socializing and is mostly withdrawn, but is easy to please and kind towards others if treated nicely. Under pressure, she surprisingly shows a good amount of bravery and will put the well-beings of others before herself. Other than that, she seems to adapt quickly to situations and is good at learning new things if she puts her mind to it. Overall, Aya has the potential to be a reliable and powerful young woman if she works hard at overcoming her crippling self-doubts and fears.

BACKGROUND:
Tess comes from a world overrun by people infected with the Cordyceps Brain Infection, a fungus which controls its host and causes them to become violent and murderous. She survived for the past twenty years in what can only be called a post-apocalyptic world, where most most of humanity clings to life in isolated Quarantine Zones operated under martial law and simmering with growing dissent among the citizens. She learned to adapt to this new way of life and became a resident of the Boston QZ, one of the last places not completely overrun by infected. She made her living as a smuggler, bringing supplies- pills, liquor, ammunition- into the QZ using a mix of stealth, intimidation, and violence. After one of her associates flipped on her, she and her partner ended tangled up with a group of revolutionaries, resulting in them becoming responsible for the safety of a girl who is immune to the infection.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Quick, ruthless, and clever, Tess is capable of impressive feats of violence, seemingly without remorse. Twenty years of ascribing to a kill or be killed sensibility has left her with the willingness to do almost anything to survive. While this includes both the aforementioned violence, it also infers her more social behaviors as well. Tess is capable of shifting between different personas - hard, violent and untouchable, or friendly, likable and flirtatious depending on what the situation calls for; she is comfortable interacting with people from all walks of life. That said, while she can be quite charming when the need calls for it, Tess is typically more abrasive and stand-offish by default - especially with those she doesn't trust or intend to use for her own gain.

Medium born into a completely mundane family. Largely isolated through years of homeschooling and later residence in a low-population area, due to his abilities being taken for illness and/or instability; minimal contact kept with family. Primary occupation was serving as resident 'problem-solver' for his general area of the Washington coast, dealing with spiritual disturbances and occasional creatures preying on humans. Has lived with multiple spirits for the past several years-- and has proven to be a functional point of crossover for similar entities.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Surprisingly optimistic, considering application of abilities and occupation. Avoids use of lethal force. Fidgety, anxious; tends to prefer online interaction over in-person, and to maintain social circles in the same manner. Curious and fond of researching to add to knowledge base. Protective of anything he feels obliged to defend or care for, and dutiful in its defense (as evidenced in occupation.) Despite thoroughness in research, displays tendency not to notice certain warning signs such as bloodstains.

Raised in a post-apocalyptic Earth where most civilization is confined to walled cities at high elevations above a risen sea level and poisonous miasma cloud, Bryn is an adventurer and fletcher by trade. While he was born in a city, he spent part of his childhood surviving alone outside the walls after losing both parents, before being taken in by a family in the city and making a lifelong best friend, Lark. Bryn is married and has two children.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Due to his past familiarity with living in the wild and his occupation as an adventurer, Bryn has a unique skillset that leaves him well-adapted to survival in a range of extreme conditions. He is flexible, easy to get along with, and hard to startle. However, due to his strong survival instinct and a brutal childhood, he can be extremely ruthless. His devotion to the people he loves at home means he will be willing to do nearly anything necessary to protect them and himself.

BACKGROUND:
Cultivated on Loda Orbus lunar colony. Grew into a Ceren-designed bioenvironmental suit and spent much of his youth causing trouble. Initially taking up work as a translator to facilitate illegal trades, Six quickly ventured into the Freelancer profession to sate his need for entertainment. Eventually he came to work for the questionable group known as 'Sanctus' until he double-crossed them in favour of a vacation.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Six's first and only concern appears to be himself. He will undoubtedly work poorly in a team with others unless they are willing to facilitate his obnoxious personality; if ego was energy Six could power an entire galaxy. He also lacks any concept of personal space and should not, under any circumstances, be exposed to moisture of any kind. Despite his numerous shortcomings in personality, Six excels in the things he likes and enjoys. Unfortunately those too are varied and inconsistent. Good luck.
