Raised alongside Prince Ling Yao by her grandfather, Fu, who undertook the majority of her training. Graduated from trainee status at age ten, has since remained at Ling's side in her capacity as his bodyguard. More recently traveled to Amestris and pulled into issues around Edward Elric, resulting in Ling Yao's assimilation by the homunculus Greed and the loss of her left arm. Has since been equipped with an automail prosthetic and begun search to track down Greed and remove him from Ling's body. ✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Lan Fan is loyal and highly driven in her goals, expecting nothing less than super-human excellence in herself. She is highly competent in combat and stealth, though temper could become an issue if pushed against her morals. Also severely stunted in social and emotional development, but she has high capacity to form strong emotional bonds.
