✖ BACKGROUND: The son of a magistrate and former Gear, Baird comes from a long line of patriotic men and women from his family who have served the Coalition of Ordered Governments since it's founding. As a child he showed off his talents and even built a cattle prod out of items he found around the house. He went to La Croix University where he worked with others for a time until Emergence Day happened where he enlisted as a Gear. From there he was assigned to an unit and after just a few short weeks was stationed in Halvo Bay during the battle for it. Recently put on trial for fighting a Lightmass Missle at the city in order to kill an enemy general, who was later killed by him and his squad.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Lacking in empathy and people skills, Baird is a loud mouth unafraid of sharing his views to anyone who will listen. Often will practice the habit of complaining louder if ignored, and will always share his opinion unless specifically told to shut up. A genius who is unafraid of fighting, Baird can and often does do his job well, but not always by the book or by following orders. Will give nicknames when not prompted and is often abrasive, selfish and cocky.

✖ BACKGROUND: An engineer hired on by the CEC for most of his career, Isaac Clarke has worked on a number of starships throughout Earth Space and has years of experience dealing with replacement and repair. After the Aegis VII/Ishimura Necromorph outbreak in 2509, of which he is the only survivor, Clarke was institutionalized in the Titan Sprawl asylum (copy of patient file enclosed) by EarthGov for three years. Clarke remained in stasis between NDM sessions and "therapy". When The Sprawl Outbreak began in 2511, Isaac was once again forced to survive. Following his narrow escape from Titan Station, Isaac situated himself on the Lunar Colony, New Horizons, living in secret until 2514, when he was found again by EarthGov's last uncorrupted two-man battalion for one final mission.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Suffers severe PTSD and Marker-induced dementia (previous hallucinations and violence are suspected to be amplified under the influence of drugs during his stay on the Sprawl, 2509-2511). Current psychological profile shows that he is well enough for field work. Resourceful, Isaac is known for his use of unconventional and unique materials to solve problems. Having amassed a fleet of ships of various sorts, he is difficult to catch, and even harder to escape. Also a capable gunsmith and shipwright, he has made multiple innovations to both his weapons arsenal and his fleet. His background beyond his exploits at war is largely unknown.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Sturmhond has a light and easy manner, yet he leads with unflinching resolve. He expects orders to be followed, and insists on his own rules being followed despite his tendency to break everyone else's. He has a strong, personal moral code, yet seeks fellowship as easily with murderers and assassins as soldiers. At first glance he appears to take nothing seriously, yet true challenges will be met with an utter ruthlessness upon which he has built his reputation. He is more dangerous than he appears, and has a strong manipulative streak. He is economical with the truth, and tends to avoid answering personal questions.

✖ BACKGROUND: "Stiles" led a frustratingly normal life up and until it was revealed to him just what kind of a town he resided in. Beacon Hills lives up to its name, a veritable beacon for supernatural activity. When his best friend was bitten by an alpha werewolf, Stiles was forcibly pulled into the world and made to adapt accordingly. Today, while his physical prowess and abilities in combat are little to none, he holds his own by progressing both mentally and verbally.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: With a mile-a-minute thought process and a heavy penchant for sarcasm, he at first glance seems to have trouble transcending the typical "plucky sidekick" label. Stiles is a thinker with an impulse problem that's hard to ignore, and tends to react in a visceral and emphatic manner. Where he was lacking in purpose before, he now focuses what he can of his energy into keeping friends and family safe. He's a pistol, but his lack of experience shows with his age.

✖ BACKGROUND: From Brooklyn, New York on Earth, James Buchanan Barnes (a.k.a "Bucky") was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II and later joined Captain America's Howling Commandos. He was stationed in Europe and ended up a Prisoner of War with the Nazi scientific branch known as HYDRA until he was later freed by Captain Rogers. During captivity, he was the sole survivor of intensive experimentation that enhanced his body enough to assist in surviving an otherwise deadly fall over a year later that landed him back into HYDRA's hands. After further experimentation, training, brainwashing and memory wipes, Barnes was made into one of Earth's deadliest assassins and was kept in cryogenic stasis in between missions over the course of 70 years. He is codenamed The Winter Soldier.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Executes missions impersonally and efficiently. Humanity is mostly repressed, though that may change with the absence of his former oppressors and the recent return of some memories. An inherently good man whose perceptions of morality have been fiercely warped; how much good remains or is salvageable is currently uncertain. At this stage, he is unpredictable, likely to become unstable under certain stimulus due to trauma, but for now remains suitably controlled through force of will. Social skills are minimal, emotional responses are impaired and likely to default to varied degrees of anger or disassociation. Self knowledge and self expression are a work in progress, though some recovery of lost identity is not impossible.

At the end of his three years of training, Wall Rose was breached and attacked, and—after sustaining grievous injury in the battle—Jaeger's shifting ability was discovered. He cooperated with the military and harnessed his ability to seal the breach in the wall and save the city, after which he was taken into police custody as a potential threat to humanity. Eventually he was released into the ranks of the Survey Corps on a probational basis, under the close observation of their strongest soldiers. ✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Loud, willful, and tenacious to an extreme degree. Curious and a quick learner, if not one particularly given to natural talent, prone to throwing himself into things without restraint and without a real concept of when it's wise to give up. In order to withstand Zebes' harsh atmosphere, the Chozo infused her with Chozo blood, giving her superhuman abilities. From early childhood to adolescence the Chozo trained Samus to be a warrior and fight with the Power Suit in order to protect the galaxy. Previously a soldier in the Galactic Federation military, Samus has since left the Federation and become a bounty hunter. She is now considered the most famous bounty hunter in the galaxy, and is at constant war with the Space Pirates, thwarting their experiments involving the parasitic creatures known as Metroids.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Samus's number one priority is the safety and protection of innocent lives, and her number one goal is delivering justice and retribution to wrong-doers. Typically somewhat serious and independent, Samus prefers to work on her own, though she has been known to cooperate with others on missions from time to time. She takes great interest in exploring and learning the cultures of the places and people she visits, and can be seen carefully logging away every tidbit of information she learns in her computer's logbook. While Samus appears stoic on the surface, talking to her reveals she's a more cheeky and sarcastic conversationalist than she looks, having a tough but playful demeanor to her speech.

✖ BACKGROUND: On an Earth in the year 2032, in the process of being invaded by alien "intruders", Hé Míng is a young adult individual in the position of "pilot", which requires good physical abilities and affinity for combat in a mecha. His parents have backgrounds in business and music, respectively; Hé Míng went through his grade school years mostly on the music side. Upon taking the piloting aptitude test (required for all Chinese citizens upon adulthood), he was found suitable for the pilot position and was officially given pilot status at the age of 18. Since then he has entered twelve engagements, resulting in 10 successful solo kills and 2 assisted. He is well-known on the Asian continent in his world as a pilot and as a public figure.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: While immature, his success rate is undeniable. He is willing to follow direction from authority figures to the letter and shows a genuine enthusiasm for helping those in need. Generally sociable, welcoming, and open-minded, his charisma is useful in personal relations as well as in the field. However, with his open-mindedness comes the fact that he is easy to sway and equally easily deterred from anything that's presented to him as a large responsibility. For better or for worse, he rarely asks questions and will take information as it is presented to him largely at face value, going along with his still-underdeveloped sense of right and wrong. With proper guidance, he is an asset. Without it, he can just as easily become a risk.

While on tour in Italy, Rogers proved his worth as a soldier by sneaking behind enemy lines and freeing Allied prisoners from a HYDRA facility. Was given the name and title Captain America. Thought to have died crashing the HYDRA Valkyrie into Arctic waters in 1945, his body was found preserved in the ice almost 70 years later and revived by SHIELD. Active during the Battle of New York.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Strong sense of duty and moral compass. Values honesty and loyalty. Efficient problem-solver. More than capable of following orders, so long as he deems them to be from the right source. Retains what are considered old-fashioned (pre-stasis) sensibilities for his current time period, but is generally up-to-date with Earth of 2013. ✖ BACKGROUND: A veteran hero who made his debut 12 years ago, everyone likes to think Kaburagi is way past his prime, but he doesn't agree with that assessment at all. Kaburagi still has a lot of fight left in him, and he's always tried his best for the most part. The media has taken to calling him the "Crusher of Justice," as he has a tendency to leave behind a trail of destruction during his heroic efforts. With his occupation as a hero, he spends majority of his time away from his own daughter, always promising her a lot of things but failing to deliver, which put their relationship under a huge strain. Of course, Kaburagi's string of bad luck doesn't end there: his NEXT power starts rapidly dwindling, and then he also gets framed for murder. His name is cleared after he, along with his partner, captures the real culprit, but he decides to announce his retirement from the hero business so he can go back home with his daughter to Oriental Town. It doesn't last very long. A year later, Kaburagi comes out of retirement because you just can't keep the old man away from doing what he loves best. Unluckily for him, that doesn't last long.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Meeting Kaburagi for the first time will have anyone thinking the same thing: what an embarrassing guy. Donned in his hero suit or not, Kaburagi's defining characteristic is just how embarrassing he can be just by being himself. Even the way he runs is something to be concerned about, because it's obvious from the get-go that there isn't a single hint of grace in his bones. However, if one bothers to get to know him, they'll see just how big his heart really is. He's a hero in every sense of the word: selflessly sacrificial, ridiculously kind, and unexpectedly reliable. He'll never turn down someone in need, regardless if you're a villain or not. The way he sees it, everyone's worth saving. Period.

✖ BACKGROUND: Sakura is a highly skilled shinobi and valuable member of her village. She graduated from the Academy at age 12 with high marks. Assigned to Team 7 with Uchiha Sasuke, Uzumaki Naruto, and Hatake Kakashi, the beginning of her shinobi career was a little odd, to say the least. Her teammate Sasuke eventually defected, resulting in the temporary dissolution of her team. Sakura then became apprentice to Senju Tsunade, the Fifth Hokage. At age 14 she was promoted to chuunin and at age 15 she took out her first S-class enemy. She's spent the past few years fighting against Akatsuki with the reassembled Team Kakashi. She was taken from the battlefield of the Fourth Shinobi World War.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: She's something of a study in contradictions. She's kind-hearted and a healer, but she's also ruthless and unafraid to get her hands dirty if a situation calls for it. Her occupation has left her a little paranoid and mistrustful, but it's not as bad as it could be. A hot temper combined with a lot of willpower means Sakura can be a bit volatile at times, though she tries to be diplomatic. Being strong and protecting those closest to her are two of the most important things to her. That can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on the situation.

Good leadership capabilities, can sympathize with others and has a good judgement of character. Imagination is her key for survival, can create vast worlds in her head and uses those as a boost for her own confidence as well as using these as a form of escapism.
✖ BACKGROUND: "Normal" life, check. She loved her mother and sister (both deceased) and seems to have been happy(?) growing up. Within a week lost her mother, lost her sister, was forced into an asylum, saw 3 friends die and had a count down of 5 days until her lobotomy procedure. There are records that she stabbed an orderly, helped a patient escape and started a fire while at the asylum.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: A fighter. Mentally, at least, when things get dire it seems to be when she can push herself past her limits, especially when it comes to protecting those that she cares about. She carries the guilt of her sister's death on her shoulders, and even though she won't talk about it specifically, she will admit that there are things in her life she deeply regrets. She's kind and willing to lend her hand, but oh so easy to underestimate because of how nice she can seem and how small she is.

After the discovery, she was kept in a compound guarded by the White Lotus, traditional allies of the Avatar. At age 17, she ran away to Republic City in order to continue her airbending training. Since then, she's defeated the Equalist anti-bending movement, mastered airbending, and saved the world from an age of darkness and chaos.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Brash and impulsive, Korra prefers to punch first and ask questions later. This makes her easy to dupe. However, Korra is outgoing and enjoys helping people... while also enjoying fighting and showing off her bending prowess. She is starting to learn a little about patience and spirituality, so her quick temper is not quite as quick as it once was.

During his seventh and final escape, he was conscripted into the Grey Wardens, and became one of the key players in the battle for Vigil's Keep. He's since slipped that leash as well and made his way to the city of Kirkwall, where he (known simply as "the Healer" by Ferelden refugees) struggles to further mage freedom and end templar control.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Intense, emotional, and particular, with a wry sense of humor and pragmatic instincts that contrast sharply with lofty ideals. Single-minded to a fault, Anders is quick to judge and slow to trust, and tends to be solitary as a result, though not entirely by nature. He may not always play nicely with others, but he'll do what needs to be done to accomplish his goals.

✖ BACKGROUND: An agent of S.H.I.E.L.D, Natasha Romanoff (Natalia Romanova) was an agent for Russian-controlled forces and underground arms of the KGB before her eventual defection following an incident involving Clint Barton. Used by the agency to catalog and oftentimes neutralize potential threats, she has been complicit in the histories of both Bruce Banner and Tony Stark. She has played a key role in dissolving the Chitauri invasion of Earth as well as the eventual unearthing of SHIELD's secrets in an incident involving Steve Rogers.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Multi-faced and duplicitous, Natasha is malleable. A woman with a murky past and a shifting moral center, her trust and loyalty is given to few and held by less. Not one to dwell on regrets but keenly self-aware of the lens in which she views the world, she is difficult to pin down in any one personality type and instead seems to adapt to suit both the preferable approach and social situation as necessary. While outwardly friendly and at times pleasantly disarming, Natasha acts with purpose in every moves she makes, consistently being aware of the ways in which she can bring down the other party should they reveal themselves to be an opponent or her own priorities shift. True loyalty and friendship is not out of the question but hard to come by.

Proceeding to undertake both training and missions with them, he was eventually commissioned as a Musketeer in his own right, and though still young, serves as a fully fledged guard to Louis XIII, King of France.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: D'Artagnan is courageous and honourable, romantic to a fault, and fiercely loyal. He has a tendency for recklessness a hot temper that contrasts with a generally quiet and calm persona. Quick-witted and dry, he is quick to seek friendship and faster to make enemies. He has the tendency to hold grudges, but is unflinching in his support of his allies. He will meet most challenges, even if ill-advised, and does not always think before he acts. He is confident to the point of arrogance when it comes to his skills, but is good-natured, and highly respectful of his superiors.
