✖ BACKGROUND:
At the age of ten, Mikasa was taken in by the Jaeger family after the murder of her parents by human traffickers. After the fall of Wall Maria, she survived as a refugee within Wall Rose for one year before following Eren Jaeger into the military. She enlisted in Survey Corps upon graduation.

✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Having lost parents at such a young age has caused Mikasa to become both emotionally withdrawn, and aware of the mortality of herself and those around her. She is able to remain rational on the battlefield, and make difficult decisions when necessary. While her lack of firm morals makes her a useful recruit for the CDC, her intense attachment to Eren Jaeger may prove problematic in the future.
