Dirk grew up in the 25th century, long after the human race had been eradicated by a powerful alien Empress who then flooded the Earth by melting the polar ice caps. One of the last two humans left, he raised himself completely alone under constant threat of being discovered by the Empress and her drones. His first contact with other humans was through online chat as a pre-teen, two of whom were four hundred years in the past. He finally met his friends in person at age 15 when they decided to play a very complicated game.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Social isolation in early childhood has made Dirk eccentric, and that's putting it nicely. Has a damaged sense of self as well as a limited concept of boundaries due to the lack of any typical societal values and nurturing. Also has a ruthless streak, morals are malleable depending on the situation, but he is not without morals, empathy or compassion. In fact, his deep caring for those closest to him is sincere and he is loyal to a fault. But he is prone to self destructive behavior: lacking regard for typical limits and sustaining a warped perception of own purpose. Though social skills are underdeveloped, he has a sharp wit, a wicked sense of humor and makes a point to come off as aloof. Often honest but can be withholding and manipulative as well as controlling, but not absolutely so. Also suffers from insecurity and self-loathing after recent social exposure. Interests include: puppets, horses, swords, sick rhymes, irony, philosophy, history, pop culture and death matches with robots.

✖ BACKGROUND: Suzunomia is Ar Ciel's Will to Sing: representing Songs and feelings of the planet. It was Suzunomia's duty as part of the planet's Consensus to create symphonic energy, which is essential for the planet's survival, via singing. In the aftermath of the Grathnode Inferia catastrophe, an event equivalent to a nuclear explosion covering most of the planet, Ar Ciel's Heart was destroyed. Yet, the planet continued to exist through the symphonic energy produced by Suzunomia. That is, until the Third Tower was created and one of its facilities, Moocheriel, stole what power was left from the land. Unable to produce symphonic energy, Suzunomia was cast into the abyss by the Consensus, leaving the planet uninhabitable while it slowly began to die. After 600 years, Suzunomia was able to possess a β-type Reyvateil, Finnel, and regained her ability to produce symphonic energy once Moocheriel was shut down.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: A proud and refined deity who yearns for freedom. She is completely devoted to her mission of providing symphonic energy to the planet Ar Ciel and holds its survival above all else. As an individual, she is compassionate and does not like to cause suffering. She would like to co-exist with humans, and she promotes positive energy and love. Easily persuaded to offer help in dire situations, but she does not forgive easily if crossed. Requires a vessel in order to interact with the mortal realm.

Psychological / cognitive abilities include: walking through dream spaces, a sensitivity to the supernatural, and the ability to grant wishes (?).
✖ BACKGROUND: Formerly known as Monou Fuuma, son of Kyougo Monou (deceased) and Saya Monou (deceased), related to Kotori Monou (deceased). Relations to one Nataku/Kazuki unknown (deceased). At the time of recruitment, Monou Fuuma has been introducing himself as 'Kamui' and leads a group of seven, superpowered individuals (the Dragons of Earth, or Seven Angels), whose mission is to wipe out humanity for the Earth to have its rebirth; in the meantime, 'Kamui' has been granting wishes to those unfortunate enough to encounter him.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Approach with caution and be precise when offering assignments as this recruit seems to have the ability to discern someone's desires and needs and interpreting their wishes in a manner that fits with the recruiter's desires and needs, and not of the company as a whole. An unchallenged antagonist in his home planet, 'Kamui' is arrogant, secretive, and violently expressive. However, he seems to possess characteristics of his former self, as he is capable of being genial to others, and even possesses the same kind of cheer and seriousness, the polite mannerisms and niceties that Fuuma was said to have.

✖ BACKGROUND: Contracted with to Rossum Corporation, Karl William Kraft surrendered his body to the Dollhouse protect and was cleared of his personality, becoming the Active, Alpha. Before reaching the end of his five year term of service, Alpha experienced a composite event, having the 48 of his past engagement personalities imprinted onto his mind. After a quick but brutal massacre of several Dollhouse associates and Actives, Alpha destroyed the wedge holding the personality and memories of Karl William Kraft and escaped. After a year's intermission, and a long sequence of choreographed events and technological attacks upon the Dollhouse and its staff, Alpha returned to kidnap the Active 'Echo', forcing a composite event upon her as well (38 imprints). Echo escaped with minor physical damages. Alpha returned later to attempt manipulation of Echo, imprinted himself with the handler Paul Ballard, and vanished again. During and after Rossom Co.'s remote wipe attack on the general populace, Alpha assisted the remaining staff of the rebelled L.A. Dollhouse, Echo and Paul Ballard in securing Safe Haven for those that avoided the wipe.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Highly unstable, displays erratic and dangerous behavior, easily lethal if tenuous control over more violent personalities is shaken. Considers himself a 'lapsed' psychotic, yet events of high stress and intense violence tend to cater towards bringing the more hostile imprints closer to influence. Despite instability and risk in recruiting him, Alpha is, for all intents and purposes, a genius. The congress of minds he holds allows for a quicker, more efficient process of invention and tactical thought. Of the 49 imprints that had been residing within him prior to his recruitment, Medical has seen fit to reduce them to 25. We believe this should not hamper his ability for quick and efficient work. Paranoia and suspicion are high in multiple imprints remaining, however, loyalty can be gained if sympathy or empathy can be evoked. Trust with caution, a spoken lie will seem identical to a spoken truth.

Scott unwillingly received a werewolf bite, curing him of his physical shortcomings and jumpstarting a new phase in his life. He refused a pack, remaining a lone wolf in the technical sense, though he seemed to have started his own compromised of humans. As of recent, he's risen to Alpha status and has formed a new pack including other werewolves.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Empathetic and self-sacrificing to a fault, Scott aims to do good in the world. However, his idealistic nature tends to create unrealistic expectations and his strict following of his code of morals can make good outcomes more difficult to achieve. His sense of loyalty is unparalleled, eclipsed only by his desire to protect. Calm and generally well-behaved, if nothing else.

But they were doomed to fail from the start and had no choice but to scratch their session, which erased the game and partially reset their universe. Surprisingly, they survived this reboot and escaped into the void, where they now travel to an alternate universe incarnation of their game.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Sharp-tongued and irreverent, Dave strives for a veneer of cool. He liberally employs self-defined irony and always wears sunglasses, but is clever and talented in his fields of expertise. Though stubborn when it suits him, his self-control is excellent and he holds himself to high standards. And he's loyal, if with an insecure streak; most of his posturing is little more than that. He craves recognition and can be highly motivated with cause, but is just as likely to become aimless without one. Creative, if prone to rambling and bouts of rap.

Also possesses exceptional ability in: negotiation and war command, starfighter piloting/deep space combat, mechanical engineering, stealth ops, hand-to-hand combat. Habitual teacher. Famously polite. Notoriously difficult to kill.
✖ BACKGROUND: Obi-Wan Kenobi was found to be Force-sensitive at a very early age, and taken from Stewjon to Coruscant to begin his Jedi training as apprentice to Qui-Gon Jinn. In his adolescence he was the first Jedi in 1000 years to defeat a Sith Lord in combat, but Jinn was killed in the fight, and Kenobi would go on to take Anakin Skywalker under his wing as his own Jedi apprentice. Several years later he became Jedi Master over the course of his status as a Jedi High General in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars; he was highly regarded for his wartime skill during the Outer Rim Sieges, and inseparable from his counterpart Skywalker. However, the Clone Wars ended with Order 66: issued to all clones, sanctioning the execution of all Jedi. Narrowly avoiding death, Kenobi was forced to strike down Skywalker; after this fight, he resigned himself to exile on Tatooine.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Even-tempered and ever-polite, Kenobi was often upheld by his peers as the model of Jedi conduct, holding close to the Jedi tenants which promote compassion, wisdom, and absolute composure in dealing with all varieties of conflict. At odds with his impressive reputation at the Clone Wars' frontlines, Kenobi remains an extremely humble soul, often genuinely surprised by others' faith in his abilities. Very pragmatic and efficient, skilled in diplomacy, but a natural teacher first and foremost, his unwavering faith in the infinite potential and fundamental good in others can blind him in many aspects; this is most notable in the case of Anakin Skywalker, whom Kenobi still mourns. However, his ability to swiftly recover from extremely damaging emotional setbacks while still maintaining faith in the 'will' of the Force is notable, perhaps his greatest asset.

✖ BACKGROUND: Enlisted in an unspecified branch of the EarthGov military upon leaving school and served in the tail end of the Resource Wars. Later transferred to Special Operations. A short temper and certain lack of patience with the incompetence of his superior officers coupled with a habit of insubordination resulted in the loss of his rank, effectively crippling his career. Although he eventually got married and had a son, he was never able to re-adapt to a civilian lifestyle, which caused a great deal of tension in his home life. Having recently lost his family at the hands of an extremist cult, he dedicated himself to finishing his wife's work. However, he never intended to return from the mission alive.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Suffers PTSD culminating in anger management issues and suicidal impulses. Some lingering effects of Marker-induced dementia. Tends towards willful disobedience should he disagree with an order and may lose his temper if his suggestions are ignored by his commanders. Despite this, a determined and brutally efficient soldier who is not afraid to make sacrifices for the sake of the mission, should they be necessary.

Trained in the art of thievery since early childhood, the Gecko brothers formed a formidable heist team for much of their lives. The two performed thirty-five successful, high profile heists. However, Seth Gecko worked a thirty-sixth job without his brother, and Texas officers intercepted his team in Houston. As a result, he spent five years in jail at the Kansas State Courthouse before Richie broke him out. Together, the Geckos robbed a bank Abilene, Texas, and kidnapped a bank teller. The bank teller was later found dead, abandoned at a motel. Despite Texas Rangers' pursuit of the Geckos, they are believed to have crossed the border with the aid of a notable cartel. Additionally, Seth briefly married Vanessa Styles (who is currently incarcerated for assisting the Geckos). ✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Capable of being charming, but usually acts emotionally closed-off, cynical, and judgmental. Often crude and antagonistic. Prioritizes control. Despite his background, he displays conscious regard for human life, particularly that of children. Selectively protective and nurturing. It is tied directly to her heart and soul, and pulls from her lifeforce; should it be used to its full extent, it will kill her. She appears to have the occasional ability to fly with a pair of wings (grown when needed), and the use of telepathy.
✖ BACKGROUND: Before adopting the name of Serenity, her previous incarnation, she was known as Usagi Tsukino, a Japanese girl born in the 20th Century. The Silver Crystal resided inside of her for some time until the memories of her past resurfaced in tragedy. From then on, she was often the target of a variety of enemies, all usually lead by some incarnation of Chaos, a being of nothingness who wished to be a part of the universe again. It's final defeat, at least for several centuries, leads to a century of peace; during this time, Usagi adopts her previous name of Serenity, and becomes the queen regent of Earth alongside her husband King Endymion. Serenity grants the people of Earth virtual immortality so they may enjoy this Silver Millennium as long as it may last.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Strong leadership skills, empathetic, and self sacrificing, Serenity is the kind of woman who will do whatever it takes to protect the people around her--whether they deserve it or not. She practices pacifism, but understands that there are times sacrifices must be made. She makes friends easily, and has a warm, kind heart. The lack of her family, or friends here may make her weaker, however, as she relies on them a great deal to push her through tough times.

✖ BACKGROUND: Edward Elric is regarded as a prodigy in the field of alchemy, having earned his accreditation as a State Alchemist at only the age of 12.
After the death of his mother, he and his brother Alphonse (the both of them, only children at that time) sought to revive her, seeking training from alchemy master Izumi Curtis then constructing a theory on Human Transmutation of their own. While their theory was accurate, the turnout was a disaster. As reviving a dead person is an impossible feat in their world, their effort resulted in a serious rebound effect. Edward forfeited his left leg and Alphonse, his entire body. Edward later give up his right arm in exchange for Alphonse's soul, binding it to a large suit of armor.
Resolved to undo what he had done, Edward later had automail surgery done on both stumps and took on Colonel Roy Mustang's suggestion to try out for a State Alchemist position (to open himself to the resources it entailed). Currently, he continues to search for a way to restore his brother's original body.

✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Mute; uses body language, expression and gestures to communicate. Wings do not aid in flight, but seem to aid in expressing body language. No formal education; no formal skillsets. Timid and wary, but surprisingly resilient in the face of changes. Earnest, obedient and altruistic. Kind. Easily frightened, but harbours a will of steel.

✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Fair warning? Never, ever ask this kid to wish you luck. Nobody needs that. Bit gloomy and uptight, but not too bad in a team. Observant and reliable, if a bit hotheaded. It's nicer than saying mentally and emotionally unstable. Will stay loyal to the crew.

✖ BACKGROUND: Entered the MWPSB after majoring in psychology and was then assigned to Unit 1 as an inspector. Her aptitude test ranked her high enough in 13 different ministries and 6 companies. She was thrust into her first mission shortly after enlisting, and was able to save the life of the first victim of the case she was investigating and the life of her fellow detective at the same time. Not much was revealed regarding Akane's past. Her family life had been a stable one, and she has a particular attachment to her grandmother. Akane's most prominent reason for joining the MWPSB was due to attaining a score that exceeded even the bureau's expectations, leading her to believe the job she had chosen was one only she was capable of doing, and thus had a duty to.

Naive and somewhat shy, she is also excessively kind and emphatic. Her demeanor is polite and respectful, if prone to anger when needs be. Her righteous sense of justice governs her actions, prioritizing her morals over her feelings. ✖ BACKGROUND: At the age of sixteen Aramis was in training to become a Priest of the Catholic Church. His lover, at the time, became pregnant and a marriage was arranged between the two. However, the child was lost before it could even be born. The girl left to join a convent after the incident, and the marriage was broken. Aramis left his training as a Priest to move to Paris and join the elite King's Guard known as the Musketeers. Aramis is also a survivor of an attack at Savoy that ended with a troop of Musketeers massacred in their sleep. Aramis has served alongside his three friends in the Musketeers for several years now.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Self-described romantic-hero type. Aramis is holds honor above all else, like most Musketeers. He is commonly referred to as a libertine. Aramis is loyal to a fault and a soldier even into death. He will follow his orders, no matter what they are with little resistance. Friendly and charismatic, Aramis is typically able to make quick friends and his loyal to his friends. Doesn't always think his actions through, though, and can be reckless initially in anger but typically recovers from it. More observant than he seems, Aramis studies people and gets to know his fellow comrade. He has been described as kind and courageous.

✖ BACKGROUND: Born into service as a soldier of an intergalactic military force known as 'Peacekeepers', Aeryn Sun served as a fighter (prowler) pilot for the near entirety of her career despite a brief period spent grounded under the command of Lt Tam Velorek. Officer Sun later reported Velorek for treason to Cpt Bialar Crais in exchange for a reassignment that lasted until she was taken prisoner alongside a human scientist named John Crichton. Labeled as 'irreversibly contaminated' via contact with a foreign (and previously unknown) species, Aeryn broke ties with Peacekeeper command and opted to reluctantly save herself rather than return and face an honorable discharge (living death through induced fever).
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Loyal, self-sacrificing, focused and ruthless: Aeryn Sun has the temperance of an exemplary soldier. Prefers direction to making individual decisions, possibly due to a certain amount of deniability, more likely due to instruction from an early age. Poor with problem solving and functioning outside of a group environment; leans towards textbook strategy rather than free thought.

✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: In a word, Banagher's a good kid. Loyal to a fault, he is a person who loves people, and he believes that life is not only precious, but deserving of respect. Many would describe him with the warmth and wisdom befitting an old soul, and his confidence that stems from it rarely breeds arrogance. Despite this natural lean towards compassion, he does have an extraordinary temper and an iron will to match, driving him to leap before he looks with little regards for his own safety. ✖ BACKGROUND: Yuri grew up in the slums of the Lower Quarter in the Capital City of the Empire, Zaphias. As an orphan, he was raised by the people of the Lower Quarter and grew to have a hatred to how the Empire did things and treated the citizens of the Lower Quarter like crap. He had a short stint as a knight that didn't go over too well so he quit after three months. One day, he ended up in jail because he broke into someone's house who had stolen something from the Lower Quarter. Breaking out of jail, he ended up running into a princess and going on a journey. Along the way, he realized the law was not justice and he ended up taking justice into his own hands, becoming a vigilante.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Nonchalant would be the way to describe him overall. He hardly shows any emotion outside of a cynical smile and won't let anyone on in regards to how much he cares about a subject, so on and so forth. In a sense, Yuri is much like a wolf, though of the alpha kind who takes in a pack and takes care of them. Those who are a part of his pack are those he'll fight tooth and nail to protect. He can seem quite intimidating, however, Yuri overall is a very friendly individual even if he enjoys teasing.

✖ BACKGROUND: Childhood mostly unaccounted for, records indicate several citations from Child Protective Services against his mother, time spent in several Youth Detention Centers, and a history of violent outbursts. Trained as a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force before being released from service on psychological grounds. First met associate Michael Townley in 1985, while operating a cargo service across the American-Canadian border. The two men and several interchanging crew members organized and committed a rash of armed robberies until a 2004 FIB operation that left Townley dead and associate Brad Snider captured. Trevor escaped and began at a later time to run a weapons smuggling and methamphetamine production/distribution operation in Blaine County, San Andreas. When he discovered Michael Townley to be alive and well, living under an alias in Los Santos, San Andreas, he surfaced to track down his old friend. He and Michael's protege, Franklin Clinton, began to assist on several "jobs," and are rumored to have worked with the FIB, though no evidence or files exist to corroborate this. Last known activity as accomplice in robbery of the Union Depository, reputed to have escaped with approximately 200 million dollars worth of gold.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Self-described as "bullying, reckless and totally selfish", Trevor Philips is an unrepentant criminal who views his hair-trigger temper and full-throttle lifestyle as strengths of character rather than faults. Unstable and prone to violence, with a tendency to exploit weakness or insecurity in others. He still displays a strangely unwavering loyalty to those he chooses to care about, and takes perceived betrayal or lies badly. Judgmental of those he believes to be "fake," believing his own admittance of drug and alcohol dependency, uninhibited sexuality, and refusal to participate in society's standards for dress and behavior somehow rid him of the hypocrisy of those who use material goods and appearance as status symbols. Deeply sensitive about Canadian heritage. Mother issues.

✖ BACKGROUND:
Born in a pre-Sybil run Japan, Masaoka graduated from a high-ranking university with a major in law. He immediately joined the Metropolitan Police Department and eventually assigned to the detective department. During the eleven years he worked for the department, he married and had one son. His world abruptly changed when Sybil came online, unfortunately. The police system was cancelled. Initially Masaoka was unable to adapt and was labeled a latent criminal. This sent him to an isolated rehabilitation clinic and his marriage was legally dissolved upon the sentencing of his deteriorating Crime Coefficient. Months later, he was assigned to be an Enforcer for the newly established MWPBS Division 1 and has been diligently working with them for past nineteen years as their "hunting dog."
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Despite living as a latent criminal for almost twenty years, Masaoka himself appears very well-adjusted and easy-going. While there are situations that may upset or anger him, he tries his best to keep a cool head. Often the voice of reason, he does not believe himself to be a wise individual but he does try to offer advice to those that are younger to him. He would rather they not fall into the same pit-holes that he did, after all. But he also knows that he what battles he can win and what battles he cannot. One thing remains constant, however, and that is the love that he has for his son, Nobuchika Ginoza. For him, he would give up everything.
