✖ BACKGROUND: Jake grew up on an unknown island with his grandmother and nobody else. It was just him and grandma throughout his life. They spent most of their exploring and going on adventures together on this island, all the while keeping contact with the world around them with limited resources. Their island was inhabited by monstrous, large beasts and was it very dangerous. Thankfully enough for their safety, Jake's grandmother was sort of a bad-ass, and owned a gun company. She had plenty of weaponry to protect them with and taught Jake everything he knows now. Unfortunately, when he was around age five or six, he was waiting for her return one night when she went missing. Jake eventually investigated to find her dead, mauled by one of the beasts that inhabited his island. He found her where she had been attacked, and was unable to save her. Jake raised himself after that up until his teens where he was invited to play a "game" with his friends that he communicates with through highly advanced technology— and that's where we meet him today.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Accident prone. Dense. Dense— but not precisely stupid. Jake asks a lot of questions, and most of the time they are pretty clever. Caring, loyal and devoted to those he builds a trust with. Very naive, gullible and oblivious. Reckless and quick to take action instead of thinking it through. Uncertain in himself and his abilities with nearly everything. Low self esteem. Indecisive about certain things. Overly emotional, self absorbed and self pitying without realizing it. Easily flustered and tries too hard to be a smooth talking gentleman with overly polite manners. Really, he tries too hard for everything. He enjoys alone time, but also finds himself very dependent on others. Oh yeah. He's also very socially awkward.

✖ BACKGROUND: Born in Japan in 1994. Parents' work forced the family to relocate frequently, resulting in Souji rarely living in the same city for more than several years at a time. Moved to Inaba in April of 2011, where he gained the ability to summon supernatural entities known as Persona to assist him in combat. Within a month of arriving in Inaba, Souji became involved in the investigation of a serial murder-kidnapping case, which he was able to solve after forming a self-styled Investigate Team with several of his classmates.

✖ BACKGROUND: Born in Chicago, Amanda Waller lived much of her adult life before entering politics in the Cabrini-Green projects, married young to her husband and gave birth to five children. A string of gang-related violence led to the deaths of her first born son and daughter, followed by her husband after he went after the perpetrators for revenge. Swearing to escape the vicious cycle, Amanda put her last remaining children and then herself through college and earned a degree in political science. She became a congressional aide in Washington D.C. and began running the covert unit Task Force X, aka: The Suicide Squad. The Squad would be comprised of veteran U.S. soldiers and expendable "super" criminals, who would work for the country to be pardoned for their crimes. The only catch is that their missions are always suicide missions, where they could very well die if they don't keep their head in the game and do as ordered. Should they stray from orders, they would be killed by Amanda herself using a chip installed in their arm and neck.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: If there was ever a need for someone tough and merciless to get things done, Amanda Waller is glad to step up to the plate and take charge. Nicknamed "The Wall" for her brash nature and inability to be broken, Amanda is prepared to do whatever it takes to protect the public and is willing to bloody her own hands if need be. Using her deep rage at the world's injustice as a tool, she sends off criminals to their deaths with the promise of freedom if they return and pushes past the bureaucracy of international politics to make every necessary battle a worthwhile endeavor. However Amanda has her own agenda: being in control and never letting anyone tell her what the hell to do. As an ally, she is strong and reliable if you manage to get her trust. As an enemy, she is brutal and will act without hesitation against those who incite her rage. One thing everyone knows for sure is this: you do not want to go up against The Wall without an escape plan.

Found himself there when his father and half-brothers were assassinated, leaving him as the unwitting sole heir to the Ruby Throne at the onset of the Oblivion Crisis. Blades agents were able to find Martin and keep him safe until the end of the crisis, when the uncrowned Emperor of Tamriel was forced to sacrifice himself to stop Mehrunes Dagon, the daedric prince of destruction.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Amiable but emotionally distant, with an undercurrent of melancholy and self-deprecation. Charismatic, eloquent, and highly dangerous, his polite, pious outer shell acts as a buffer against his nature as a dragon—domineering, manipulative and, above all, power-hungry. Struggles with his dual nature as a dragon-mortal, and has been known to give into his inner dragon, with disastrous results. Iconoclast by birth and choice. Prone to martyrdom. Masochistic streak.

✖ BACKGROUND: Birthplace unknown. Raven Darkholme, code name Mystique, ran away from home at an early age after her parents attempted to kill her. After that, she became a thief, stealing food to survive. She happened upon Charles Xavier by chance; the man took her in, and the two have been bonded as family ever since. After the CIA asked for the assistance of her brother, Raven became involved in with a team of individuals — mutants, they call them — with similar powers. Using their combined strength, the team managed to take down Sebastian Shaw before he could initiate a war between mutantkind and humanity. Nonetheless, Raven and company are still viewed as a threat by worldly powers; after an attempt to eradicate them in Cuba, Raven banded together with a man by the name of Erik Lehnsherr to form a brotherhood to protect themselves against mankind.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Internally conflicted. Seems to have a self-image problem, but has grown more self-confident with time. Expects others to recoil from her true form — abandonment issues? Defensive and sarcastic, but appears to be a fun and rowdy young woman when she isn't guarded. Cares about mutantkind to a great degree — very compassionate in general. Sees the good in others. Somewhat naive and sheltered, but looking to break free. Incredibly stubborn and strong-willed, in spite of that.

✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Luke fon Fabre is the son of Duke Crimson Herzog fon Fabre and Grand Duchess Susanne fon Fabre, as well as being the nephew of King Ingobert VI of Kimlasca-Lanvaldear. He's a spoiled brat, in other words. Despite that though, Luke can be very caring and think of other people before himself once he's gotten his thoughts in order. That being said, Luke can be very slow on the uptake and very slow to apologize or think he's wrong. Basically, he's a teenager thrust into the position of a world saving protagonist and boy is he in for a ride.

✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: A con artist who's made his way through life by conning others, Peter Bishop has no real ties to any particular organization, preferring to stick to his guns. While he has connections to the FBI, they're merely as consultant role. He's sarcastic, defensive to a fault, but his most notable asset is the ability to analyse and construct logical explanations for situations. Peter lacks in any particular abilities beyond natural skills, but that doesn't mean he's the weak link; if anything his resourcefulness proves useful.

Once an enemy of his home and with the god-given task of destroying it, he set out on a journey with the others branded that day to defy their task. In the end, they succeed and are freed from their curse but before they even have the chance to celebrate—the world begins to change. He dedicates himself in the aftermath to fixing the ever changing timeline, throwing himself into work with the Academy and setting course so humanity would begin to rely on science and not their former gods.

✖ BACKGROUND: The 669th unit for a soldier-class cloned bioweapons within the Yuriev Institute on planet Vartas, where he has lived all his life, rarely leaving except in cases of war. Often as ground and shock troops. Codenamed "Nigredo", he is one of four variants standing outside standard units, beginning with unit 666 down. By the age of twelve, with a wide range of training, Nigredo has become an exemplary soldier among even other U.R.T.V. units. Designed as an anti-existence to a waveform existence only known as U-DO. Little else is known about the project or the purpose of the U.R.T.V. experiments. Now one of only two surviving units after a conflict that consumed all of planet Miltia.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Well-mannered, sociable, and easily gets along with most others. Easily willing to serve as a mediator, adheres to a strict form of logic. Not easily ruled by emotions. ✖ BACKGROUND: Born in the southern part of Wall Rose, Springer enlisted into the military at the young age of 12, hellbent on proving himself to his family and the rest of his village. Despite slower-than-average mental capabilities and an alarming tendency to fool around during training, Springer graduated eighth in his class and went on to join the Survey Corps with a number of his fellow graduates. He was present at the battle of Trost and participated in the 57th expedition outside the walls.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Hotheaded, loud, and slow on the uptake, Springer is far from the model soldier. He does not excel in any one area and frequently falls behind when it comes to military strategy and comprehension, a fact that irks him to no end. However, he is earnest and quick to follow orders issued, and his relative good cheer and optimism provides a source of entertainment and moral support for his peers. Despite his oftentimes inane behavior, his genuine compassion and concern for his peers have made him a well-liked member of his squad.

✖ BACKGROUND: Souji Okita is the captain of the Shinsengumi's First Division. Born into a samurai family, he was left to live at Shiei Hall when both of his parents died. There, he became an expert of the Tennen-Rishin Ryu sword technique, his skills as a swordsman almost completely unmatched. Souji was recently bedridden due to symptoms of terminal tuberculosis, which eventually drove him to consume the Water of Life. This restored his health (for the most part) at the expense of his humanity—Souji was turned into a demon-like fury, enhancing his speed and strength and making him very difficult to kill. In exchange for this, however, he's developed a (literal) thirst for blood and struggles with maintaining his sanity. Even so, Souji considers himself the "sword" of the Shinsengumi, willing to cut down anyone in its path even at the expense of his humanity.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Usually cheerful and aloof, Souji has a penchant for teasing and tends toward mischief. He has a twisted sense of humor at times and doesn't always know where to draw the line, but his teasing is harmless for the most part. His constant smile often makes him hard to read and he isn't especially honest, but overall, he seems like a relatively good-natured person. This is all on the surface, however—underneath, Souji has difficulties trusting (or even liking) most people, has very few reservations about killing, and holds very little regard for human life. This, on top of his recent fury status, makes him especially dangerous as he struggles to stay sane.

Guided by the creature Mokona, the girls were tasked to become the legendary Magic Knights and protect Cephiro and its people.

✖ BACKGROUND: Born on Thessia, within the Athena Nebula, Liara was the daughter of a powerful and influential asari Matriarch priestess. She is a noteworthy ancient Prothean culture researcher, published in several journals and fellow of Thessia’s largest university despite very young age- specializes in species extinction. Was rescued by Commander Shepard from a dig site and became part of the crew. After Shepard’s death, became obsessed with finding their body and delved into the underworld of information trade. Upon stealing the Commander’s body and giving it to Cerberus, getting her colleague Feron kidnapped by the Shadowbroker, she became a target for the Shadowbroker and spent the next two years hunting down information to rescue Feron. With Shepard’s help she rescued Feron and murdered the Shadowbroker, assuming his role. After the reaper attacks on Earth, and Cerberus’ destruction of the Shadowbroker base, she runs the network from the XO’s office on the Normandy and supplies information to Shepard about the war.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Intelligent and decisive, able to think quickly on her feet on a combat situation and fiercely loyal. Focused on getting the job done, despite secondary casualties to bystanders; can be dangerously obsessed with mission targets if it becomes personal. ✖ BACKGROUND: Born in Tokyo on December 3rd, 2090. At the age of five, Kagari was flagged as a latent criminal by the Sibyl System and sent to a rehabilitation centre, where he was later declared irrecoverable. Due to this assessment, Kagari spent his entire childhood and adolescence housed in facilities for latent criminals and wasn't able to interact with the general public in any shape or form. It wasn't until he came of age that he was offered the chance to work with the Public Safety Bureau as one of their Enforcers, which he agreed to.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Kagari is a fairly easy-going young man who has a bit of an attitude. It seems the worst part about him is his mouth, since he generally lacks tact and consideration for the feelings of others. He also has quite the violent streak, but this aspect of his behaviour is manageable and easily directed towards enemies. In his spare time, he likes to have fun and entertain himself by playing games and reading comics. Overall, he's friendly and appears to mostly get along with others.

The importance of this role aside, Kyoya rejects the idea of "family", functioning best as an independent force. Outside of the whispered rumors, little is known of Kyoya's past.

This opened up an opportunity for Olaf to devise a scheme to steal the large fortune Mr. and Mrs. Baudelaire left to their children.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: An extremely self-centered person, Esmé cares far more about money and what is fashionable than the plight of miserable orphans. She is quick to persuade people that her way of thinking is superior, and that knowing the latest trends should always be a top priority - next to making oodles of money, of course. Though her motives are questionable, Esmé displays determination and diligence in what she does, provided that a clear and desirable goal is in sight.

As of 1863 Japan, the Tokugawa era is nearing its conclusion, and the general uncertainty of the land is further aggravated by the introduction of western foreigners to their ports. At one time, Mozu and her comrades were members of the White Lotus, a group formed by the leader of Byakushin village, Rugi. Their mission was to eradicate all foreigners and their negotiators. Since Rugi's betrayal, the group has changed their allegiance, and they are now enlisted in the Mimawari-gumi, Aizu subdivision Byakuren-tai. While brothers Shotarou and Gentarou pursue bushido, Mozu follows loyally as their one and only kunoichi.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Unusually candid for a woman of her time. Displays confidence, physical ability, and intelligence, and her loyalty to her leader Shotarou is steadfast. This is in contrast to her overall sense of political conviction, which is less emphatic, especially after Rugi's betrayal. Seemingly desensitized to the brutality around her, and at times responsible for bloodshed herself; however, she is capable of forming close, even family-like relationships.

He achieved a two-rank promotion to lieutenant at the Battle of Loum, wherein he single-handedly destroyed five of the Earth Federation's Magellan class battleships. More recently, he joined forces with the AEUG to put an end to The Titan's tyrannical oppression.

Prefers to call himself a 'hound', but gets really irritated when referred to as a dog. He's a demigod and pretty proficient in combat, but otherwise doesn't look like a reliable soldier. Surprisingly cooperative. Also, apparently turns into a monster if he gets angry enough. Not sure where I've heard that before.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Fairly serious in most instances until women and combat are mentioned. Then, his mood perks up considerably. He speaks his mind incredibly honestly and may disappoint others in how singular his thinking can be. He chooses his words carefully, but nothing he's said reads that he's trying to be dishonest. Not recommended for command or reconnaissance. Stick him in the dirt and put a weapon in his hands. He won't be needed for much else.

It's a mutually beneficial arrangement in that Youko gets someone to fuss over, her master gets a live-in housekeeper, and both (together with the third member of their party, Haruka) get a family. D'awww. Together, they fight crime solve mysteries and exorcise demons that won't play nice - for a perfectly reasonable fee, of course.
✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Youko is a good acquaintance to have. Polite and helpful, she approaches most things with a positive attitude and gives her work her absolute all, no matter how much of it there is. Her energy and cheerfulness make it less obvious at first, but there's distance between Youko and others - a distance that Youko actively works to keep in place when anyone attempts to become closer, exceptional circumstances notwithstanding. Ultimately, Youko does not identify in any way as human, and it would be a mistake to expect her to act thusly. A shapeshifter with three forms, she is most comfortable in her human guise around non-youkai.

However, due to circumstances, she withdrew from her position, allowing her younger brother to take her place as the head of the family.
