She is also extremely agile, able to evade most attacks with graceful ease, and she also possesses considerable jumping ability. In addition, Akame's no slouch in hand-to-hand combat, and her kicks are particularly nasty. ✖ BACKGROUND: While specifics are sparse, Akame grew up in the wilderness alongside her younger sister, Kurome. Having been sold off to the Empire while she was still relatively young, she underwent grueling trials and training to become a member of the Elite Seven, who were considered the top killers of the Empire's forces, undergoing clandestine assignments to weed out rebels who'd hidden themselves or were otherwise considered threatening. As the years passed, and as she lost the friends she'd made, Akame became disillusioned with the Empire, and on a mission to take out the ex-Imperial general Najenda, she was persuaded by the latter to join the Revolutionary Army's reconaissance force, Night Raid, and went on to turn against her former masters. It is assumed she may have killed her mentor, Gozuki, as she is now in possession of his Teigu, the sword Murasame. Since then, Akame has been slowly, but surely, destroying the Empire's inner echelons from within as a member of Night Raid---but not without considerable losses... ✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Akame appears staid, even aloof, at first glance. It's hard to tell what's on her mind, and for some, she may come off as either calm under pressure, or outright insensitive and emotionless. This is both true and untrue; while she is disciplined and exercises good judgment, her stoic front is largely a result of both her checkered background and a coping mechanism. In order to steel her resolve to take lives, Akame conditioned herself to supress her emotions, focusing entirely on what needs to be done, and is singularly ruthless and determined in battle. Among her friends and people she's comfortable with, Akame is caring and protective, and constantly worries about them; her greatest fear is to lose the people she has left, as she's already lost so many. She also struggles with feelings of guilt and regret regarding those who have passed on throughout her life, as well as her sister Kurome, who is now her enemy---the one she absolutely must kill.
