✖ BACKGROUND:
Once an ordinary man, Wade Wilson enlisted in a secret government project in hopes of curing his cancer. His cancer spread to his entire body after the experiments, and as a result, his healing ability was accelerated far beyond that of a normal human's. He failed the Weapon X program and was sent to a place called the Hospice to treat failed superhuman operatives. He was subjected to various torture experiments and, if he hadn't already, lost his mind. He managed to escape the Hospice and took up the name Deadpool. He's continued to work as a mercenary, and will take on jobs from retrieving secret information to assassinations. He tends to stray from the latter, if possible.

✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Not a villain, but definitely not a hero. He's loud, chaotic, and cruel, and not above shooting anyone for the right price... or just for kicks. He's a ruthless but efficient killer. He's also completely insane. He holds little regard for the physical safety of others, and may injure them simply because he can. Caution is recommended when dealing with him. Despite his obvious flaws, he usually manages to get the job done, even if his methods are unorthodox. Fluctuates from a devil-may-care attitude to extreme depression and self-loathing. Monitor carefully.
