NARUKAMI, YU
✖ M03A32-123
BLUE TEAM
narukami.yu@cdc.org

PLACE OF ORIGIN & SPECIES: Earth, Human
DIET: Omnivorous
NOTABLE SKILL SET/S: Above-average physical fitness, decent skill with a katana, intuitive ability to manage/handle the flow of combat, and the ability of the "wild card," one who can wield multiple Personas

BACKGROUND:
Yu Narukami is a mostly unremarkable human male of 17 years of age. Grew up in a slightly unstable household because his parents would move every few years for their work, causing Yu to change schools a few times during his childhood. One such change led Yu to move to the town of Inaba, Japan, where he fell into remarkable events: a series of bizarre, supernatural serial murders which he'd come to play a key role in solving. This role involved the awakening of his potential as the "wild card" and allowed him to wield Personas, manifestations of the self that are capable of incredible magical powers. During his stay in Inaba, Yu lived with his uncle and young cousin, Nanako. He'd come to regard the two as close family, and saw Nanako as his little sister. Just prior to Yu's recruitment, Nanako was killed as the result of unfortunate circumstances.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Mature, calm, level-headed, dependable, and honest, Yu is a truly good person who frequently goes out of his way to help other people simply because he can. He does this for no personal gain; he simply sees a situation in which he can help, and helps, with no fanfare. Could be described as somewhat noble in spirit. Almost preternaturally gifted at everything he tries. He has a somewhat bizarre, very deadpan sense of humor that doesn't seem very funny to anyone but him. A natural leader, he has a gift for remaining calm in battle and has an intuitive sense for how best to achieve victory. He is difficult to upset or disturb, though at the time of his recruitment seems weighed down by grief, which is making his behavior somewhat more erratic than usual.
