Possesses a highly advanced cloaking system that can evade most traditional sensors. Combat skills with a particular preference towards pistols and submachine guns.

BACKGROUND:
Kasumi is known as the best thief in the galaxy, but not the most famous. In underground circles, Kasumi has built up a reputation over the years by excelling in property acquisition all while keeping her criminal record spotless. Not long after she began her work in the field, she met another thief by the name of Keiji Okuda, and they quickly decided to become partners. The two of them worked together until Keiji was killed, and Kasumi joined Commander Shepard's mission to stop the Collectors with the promise that Shepard would help Kasumi retrieve an item stolen from Keiji. After retrieving this item and securing her loyalty, Kasumi joined the crew of the Normandy SR-2 on their mission into the Collector Base and helped to destroy it. After returning from this mission, records are unclear, but she presumably returned to her normal line of work.

CHARACTER ASSESSMENT:
Kasumi is quite different from the stereotypical thief, since she's quite personable and playful. She's seemingly a very honest and straightforward person to the point of seeming a little too playful in serious situations, but Kasumi is capable of being very thoughtful and serious. She's quite empathetic to others and has a kind, sentimental heart. She goes out of her way to help people that she feels can't help themselves, and while her morals tend to skew towards grey as a self-admitted kleptomaniac and thief for hire, she's fundamentally a good person. That said, she does have boundary issues and tends to be a little nosy with everything from people's personal lives to their underwear drawers. Locks and extra security measures are recommended.
