Also trained in traditional kendo. ✖ BACKGROUND: Member of S.E.E.S. (Specialized Extracurricular Squad) which hunts shadows in an effort to combat Apathy Syndrome. Prior to joining S.E.E.S., spent most of his life moving from school to school until settling in Iwatodai. Has no known living immediate family. Due to his Wildcard powers, has access to the Velvet Room; his tarot is The Fool. ✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Nonchalant almost to the point of recklessness, Makoto seems to have no instinct for self-preservation. He fights with a determination of his own, not concerned about potential harm to himself. Despite this, he cares deeply about his fellow S.E.E.S. members, and will do anything to protect them. All in all, he is the type of person who will "go with the flow" of things, though he does have a rather strong will on certain issues. Few, if any things seem to surprise him, though he does seem to have a type of curiosity regarding select people.
