He gained a number of new abilities and a mutation in his genetic make-up, and has since been using his new-found powers to protect New York City from crime - though not without a fair amount of repercussions and losses along the way. ✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: A do-gooder with an equally good and kind heart. Peter can be foolishly brave and has a strong moral compass. Friendly and generally easy-going in nature but he mostly keeps to himself and prefers to work alone. He can be a little sassy and self-centred at times, with a tendency to sink into bouts of personal angst.
