Assassination. Corpse disposal. A limited regard for human life. ✖ BACKGROUND: A common man who at a young age, became the bodyguard to the Empress Jessamine, the first foreigner to ever hold the title of Lord Protector. Whether he is biologically so or not, the closest thing to a father that her daughter, Emily, knows. After her assassination and Emily's kidnapping, he was framed for her murder by the men who orchestrated it, and tortured for six months in the hopes of a false confession. The day before his execution he broke free of jail, and by doing so caught the interest of the spirit-God called the Outsider, who granted him super human abilities to aid him in his bloody task of revenge. His need for vengeance and to see Emily restored to the throne, is what drives him and all he is focused on. ✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: His greatest virtue and vice is his loyalty. Dutiful. Doesn't question orders, and trusts that he is doing the right thing, defined by his ability to serve. Prefers to keep to himself, but underneath the dead-eyed exterior, very much a gentleman. Ultimately his grief has left him him hollowed out, but he presses forward regardless.
