Responsive in changing combat situations. ✖ BACKGROUND: Born July 4, 1920. Originally frail and sickly in his youth, Steve Rogers was a subject of Operation Rebirth, an experimental program used to develop better soldiers. As a result of the experiment, Steve has better than average physical abilities, with enhanced strength, speed, and stamina at the peak of human form. He served in the American military as a symbol of freedom and special operative during World War II. Toward the end of the war, he was caught in an accident during a mission and accidentally frozen in suspended animation. He awoke in modern times and was recruited to the superhero group known as the Avengers. Subsequent years show him active as an Avengers member and leader, independent agent, and most recently a special operative assigned directly under the President. ✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: Intelligent, particularly in regards to combat, and well-versed in a variety of situations (alien technology, time travel, and dimensional travel) beyond normal military experience. Adaptable to shifting environments and improvised combat strategies. Brave, disciplined, and shows strong commitment to loyalty and protecting others. He behaves friendly and cooperative, but reserved when encountering abrasive individuals. Steve is idealistic and values defending innocents and friends above his own personal welfare. When not in combat, he is kind and actively concerned about his allies. Inside or outside of combat, he will go out of his way to protect those in need.
