✖ M01C12-374 ✖ Red ✖ krios.thane@cdc.org ✖ PLACE OF ORIGIN & SPECIES: Kahje, Drell ✖ DIET: Omnivorous ✖ NOTABLE SKILL SET/S: Stealth and infiltration, sniping, deadly hand-to-hand combat, biotic powers, knowledge of anatomies and vulnerabilities, eidetic (photographic) memory. ✖ BACKGROUND: Under the tutelage of the hanar and a pact known as the Compact, Krios was trained as an assassin from the time he was six years old; his first kill was made at age twelve. He eventually left the Compact as a young adult to raise a family, but took to freelance assassin work when it became apparent he needed to support them. After his wife's murder (and his subsequent revenge), he continued work as a freelancer up until being diagnosed with the terminal condition known as Kepral's syndrome. At that point, he specifically began singling out the most ruthless of targets in an effort to restore the balance of his life. This was how he eventually met up with Commander Shepard of the Normandy. Signing onto her mission gratis, Thane aided her in stopping the Collectors' mass genocide of the human race, therefore slowing down the imminent Reaper invasion. After parting ways, he relocated to the Citadel to live out the rest of his days in peace with his son. ✖ CHARACTER ASSESSMENT: As he views his own body as a weapon, and is primarily used to hunting down contracts, Krios functions best under command rather than in a leadership role. Yet at the same time, he has operated alone up until very recently, so it is difficult to determine how much of a "team player" he might be. While level-headed and polite, he is oftentimes unreadable. In addition to his experience and trained skills, his cool, calculating demeanor makes him a powerful asset in combat. However, his morals and psychological makeup leave it unpredictable as to whether he'll follow orders to the letter or deviate from his role entirely. Respect is valuable to him, and he never rebels without a good reason. Krios suffers from both physical and mental ailments, yet through training and meditation he is able to mitigate a great deal of their impact.
